PHOENIX / SOURCE-GATED VIEW

Citywide facts.
No false precision.

Phoenix Police moved to a new records-management system in September 2025 and began NIBRS reporting in January 2026. The City publishes the new monthly reports alongside crime-map access and explicitly separates them from the retired summary-reporting series.

WHY THE MAP IS PAUSED

Missing geography is not zero.

The transition interrupted or changed several machine-readable transparency feeds. Until Phoenix publishes a stable current-system offense extract with an official neighborhood or police-area key, this site will not splice the retired grid series into the new NIBRS period.

Showing citywide values across neighborhood polygons would imply a distribution the source does not publish. This page therefore stays honest: it preserves the available measures and leaves the neighborhood layer visibly unavailable.

What this source can support.

This page preserves the official source boundary: it links to the city’s current public product without copying unverified screen totals or substituting a different reporting system.
