SAN ANTONIO / SOURCE-GATED VIEW

Citywide facts.
No false precision.

San Antonio Police has used NIBRS since November 2020 and publishes a current year-to-date comparison for crimes against persons, property, and society. The three measures below reproduce SAPD’s January–June 2026 table as separate, source-defined categories.

WHY THE MAP IS PAUSED

Missing geography is not zero.

SAPD’s current public product is a citywide comparison table and monthly PDF series. It does not expose the offense rows and stable local-geography key needed for this site to calculate a defensible neighborhood choropleth.

Showing citywide values across neighborhood polygons would imply a distribution the source does not publish. This page therefore stays honest: it preserves the available measures and leaves the neighborhood layer visibly unavailable.
